Portability in Tango Controls

We prioritize the following attributes in Portability part:

• Installability (there must be packaging);
• Adaptability (like device catalogue).

Conclusions

There is an extensive work going in the community to implement these features: windows installer, packages for Linux. Device catalogue is a very good initiative to increase adaptability of Tango Controls.
